Title: ELT and e-Learning - Using EdTech as we enter the Age of AI
Abstract: The use of EdTech in ELT has come a long way since the early days of CALL activities. It was perhaps COVID and the pandemic that has prompted ELT teachers to do more with hardware and software. Today, we stand at the dawn of a new age - with perhaps even more potential disruption in the world of ELT.
In this session, Dr. Tony took participants on a 25-year journey- dropping in on the major trends ELT has witnessed. He highlighted the various tools that grabbed our attention and the types of e-learning possible at the time. He also expired many of the latest tools and explore how teachers can get the best from them - including, of course, ArtificialIntelligence.
